Short version: DockIntercept has no analytics and never sends your files anywhere. Buying and licensing are handled by Setapp.
DockIntercept is a macOS utility developed by Maximilian Marquart (marquart.dev) and distributed through Setapp.
DockIntercept does not collect, store, sell, or transmit your personal data. There are no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising, and no in-app accounts. Purchasing, licensing, payments, taxes, and first-line support are handled by Setapp (and its payment processor) under their own privacy policies — the developer does not receive or store your payment details.
DockIntercept uses the macOS Accessibility permission solely to detect right-clicks on items in your Dock and to show its extended menu. All of this runs locally on your Mac. File paths, file contents, and your actions are processed on-device and are never sent anywhere.
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may collect standard server logs (such as IP addresses) as described in the GitHub Privacy Statement. DockIntercept is distributed through Setapp, which is governed by Setapp’s own privacy policy. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
If this policy changes, the updated date above will reflect it.
